Only Fighters realize Destiny!!! Get your fight back today Champs!!!!

Life would be so simple if realizing our destiny didn’t require perseverance. How cool would it be, if we never had to work toward our callings. What if, in life, we had nothing to conquer or overcome but rather life would just bring success to us? Well one day this will be a reality, but in the age we presently live in, overcoming is the path to our destiny. Truthfully speaking, there is something in the human spirit that knows there is no true greatness without the travail that leads to triumph. Is there such a thing as true victory without a battle? I don’t believe so.

Greatness is both developed and revealed in the fire of the trials of life. There is a timeless scripture that says “if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” This means that strength and greatness has to be qualified and actually isn’t proven until it is tested by adversity. The idea here is that true greatness is durable, and doesn’t faint, quit or give up even in the midst of circumstances that threaten victory. This word is not to disqualify anyone from greatness but to reveal to us how greatness is manifest. The Creator wants to give us a way of thinking that will allow us to live the champion life that we were created to live.

Did you know that in life as long as you are breathing you are never out of options? We must allow the fact that we can still open our eyes in the midst of a battle to be the encouragement that empowers us toward the finish line. Success is certain as long as we stay in the fight. The moment we stop fighting is the moment we start losing. I do agree, however, that just like in a boxing expedition, we may have to break and return to the corner for rest, refreshing, reflection, and inspiration. For the spiritual champion this means taking time to visit God’s mountain for alone time with Him to be renewed, refreshed, reassured and refocused. However, our pause should only be long enough to accomplish these things. As soon as we have been re-aligned we should, with great zeal and expectation of victory, engage the giant in our lives until it falls to the ground with a sound like thunder. You are mightier than you know my friend.

What if the only reason the Creator allowed for battles and trials in our lives was to prove to us that we are greater than every battle that we’ll ever face? The Scripture says that even a righteous person has many battles, but God will bring them victoriously through them all. Even death itself cannot defeat us!

Today my friend, rest if you must, but never give up. You were born for triumph and victory. It’s natural at times to feel overwhelmed and outmatched, but remember to always keep your feet moving forward until is it revealed that what you believed had overtaken you was just your next conquest in the making. God has already decreed and set in motion within the universe, all of the logistics for your victory.

Prayer: Father, thank you for promising to always cause me to triumph in life. Thank you for your promise that states that if you are for me, who can be against me? Thank you for the assurance that I am more than a conquer, and that greater am I than anything because of He who lives inside of me. Help me to remember these things when I face giants in my life. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen.
