“Putting on the mindset of success makes doubt & fear irrelevant to you.”

One of the greatest yet rarely utilized discplines that God has given us is the ability to set our minds. Setting our mind goes further than just thinking or believing. It is a fixing of one’s mind on a particular thing or direction and resolving in one’s mind, spirit and even body that this way is reality. When a mind is set, it makes nonexistent, everything that contradicts the direction that the mind is set upon. Because your reality consists of what and how you think, all other ideas and directions become irrelevant to you.

As long as there is an option for failure, the possibility to fail exists. As a matter of fact, failure lives where it is welcomed through it being an option. When we set our mind on something, we do so because we have been moved to believe in our arrival at the particular destination that we are expecting. It wasn’t a possibility that caused us to act, but rather a perceived reality of what is to come based upon an idea that an unfailing, Almighty God has placed in our mind. This adds credibility to our direction and produces clarity and faith-filled momentum toward the vision that we are believing for.

Setting our mind means to consistently think and meditate upon our God-inspired reality, even when approached with the opportunity to doubt or be afraid. When the argument of doubt arises, simply end the mental-dialogue by declaring your absolute disinterest in conversation that doesn’t exist in your universe of faith. When a mind is set, it only responds to ideas and discussion that stimulate the pursuit of success. Because God’s agenda is to see you become whole and prosper, you have divine permission to be optimistically expectant. You were created for success.

Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me the ability to “set” my mind. Lord, deliver me from double-mindedness. May I be focused and determined to be who you say I am and to do what you have chosen me to do. May I have perfect faith toward the fulfillment of my purpose and destiny. Today, I relinquish Plan B, and choose to live in the expectation of your best for me. Amen
